Beta Program Privacy Notice

This notice applies only during the Kryptothea beta testing phase.
It is separate from our main Privacy Policy and will be removed when the beta ends.

Temporary Access for Testing

To identify and fix issues quickly, we (Kryptothea) will have temporary access to:
• All web app transactions and events (album creation, uploads, download attempts, deletions)
• Detailed logs including timestamps, browser/OS details, and album metadata
• The ability to view encrypted album contents if needed for troubleshooting
These capabilities will be disabled permanently at launch.

Your Responsibility

Please **do not** create or upload albums containing:
• Sensitive client images (boudoir, newborn, medical, etc.)
• Unreleased or confidential work
• Any content you would not want temporarily visible to our team
Test with sample or placeholder images only.

Data Handling & Deletion
──────────────────────────────
• All beta data — including logs, test albums, and account activity — will be **permanently deleted** within 7 days after the beta ends.
• No beta data will be used for marketing, training, or any purpose beyond bug fixing.
• You will receive an email confirmation when your data has been wiped.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

The beta program is not open to children under 13.

After Launch
──────────────────────────────
Upon public release:
• Full end-to-end encryption is enforced
• We cannot access album contents
• All logging is limited to the rules in our standard Privacy Policy
• Every beta participant will be notified by email before the transition
